It looks good.

My question is how do you take care of Alcantara? Cleaning? UV protection?

Are you doing the trim ring around the instrument cluster in alcantara? I think this would be a great upgrade for people that want the alcantara upgrades but don't want to do the entire dash.
No, although that might be an interesting project to take on. I'll keep that one on the back burner for now. I'm not sure how the fitment would be around the vents.

hey Cyclone beautiful work! Will the Alcantara boot and arm rest that you posted above be the same price as the previously listed prices? or will the alcantara cost more?
Thanks. Alcantara is roughly 10 times more expensive than the other brands I carry. A standard shift boot runs around $40 so that means and Alcantara one is $400 J/k. I'll probably charge $60 or so for them. PM me about it though as I don't want to turn this into a for sale thread although hopefully everything shown will be after I'm done and have patterns for it all.

^^^ BTW, for those that don't know, this will be Ideugine's interior.

Anyway, now for some updates. I cut into the Alcantara for the first time. This stuff is definitely so nice to work with. It just feel so solid. Not sure if it's worth the exotic price tag, but it definitely has it's qualities that the off brand doesn't offer.

So, last time I left you with a teaser shot of the prototype handle. Well, the pattern has been finalized and now I can crank them out in just about any material that's stretchy. An alcantara set is coming next.

Center console has been completed. The elbow pad get a strip of Alcantara down the middle to complete the lines of the aluminum trim.

I used perforated leather for the sides to match up with the e-brake handle which saddens me to say that after five attempts, I can't seem to replicate the ASM version

The boot is of course Alcantara

Everything flows really nicely and feels super sexy.

Stay tuned for more updates hopefully early next week. Door panels are next.
that looks incredible- cant wait to see pics of it installed!!

Well, finished the door panels last night. I made all new alcantara door handles to contrast the leather section they attach to. The alcantara is stretchy, but it was still a pain in the ass to seam and cover the passenger side. Anyway, they're done and look great. The tops of the panels should flow nicely into the dash once it's covered.

You can't tell in the pics really, but there are small cutout slits in the handles that will push apart far enough for a screwdriver to go through in order to screw the handlels to the car door.

The windshield trim will be next to be covered and then finally the dash.
