some arguments:

this is a racetrack!! no divets filled with water, no potholes, just nice smooth asphault.
this is a racetrack!! all of the other drivers are going the same direction and know how to drive
this is a racetrack!!



on the street there are a lot of variables you dont get on the track, and the s will bite you if something goes wrong

Really, if the S is dangerous on wet public road, the driver must be without common sense and shouldn't be out there. Going fast belongs on the track. So whatever variables on the street are irrelevant here.
