Bra
Excellent solution hooman...
I sewed some nylon screen mesh (from one of those big screen bug gaurd things) in the openings of mine. That works great, too. I also seem to get fewer "bright light" flashes from oncoming drivers since it blocks some of the light.
I have to agree that they are ugly as sin, though.
But here in Atlanta, 80mph plus on the highways and byways will sandblast the front end of a car in just weeks.

Very functional solution hooman. I also use a bra on long road trips and on the track. Once, it saved the paint on the front bumper from an autocross cone that jumped out in front of the car
.
What kind of plastic did you use?

I dont normally put the hood part on for no particular reason. I used the plastic that the upholstery people use for convertible windows. I used the thin kind first but didnt work as well. so went with the thick kind. it is the same plastic that is in the back window. I dont know about u guys but living in CA we spend a lot of our driving time on the highway where speeds are above 70mph and there is all kind of stuff that comes off the cars in front of you. I already have one paint chip and cant stand to look at it. it is just hurts looking at the damage. no amount of touch up paint can hide a bad one. so for now I am covering the nose. at least most of the time
