Can someone with an 06 verify this?

I agree, but I thought it added the air to the intake (hence the line into the intake tube). I don't recall seeing any tubes running into the exhaust and I've taken everything out from the exhaust ports back.
hehe. now go take a closer look. that tube to the intake, is for fresh air supply to the air pump. where it sends the air,,,, see the little valve at the rear of the intake mani, follow the other hose there, it puts it in on the intake side of the head, which has little passages through the head to the exhaust ports. see the little mole tunnel just above where the exhaust mani bolts on. its cover by a little bronze colored worm shaped deal. thats where the air is injected, just on the backside of the exh valve, lates

So technically, you can chop that hose going to the intake, shove on a small filter at the pump so you don't pull in dirty air, and voila...you have an 06?

Are we sure honda got rid of the air pump altogether and not just that connection? Honestly, I wouldn't think you really needed anything more than a mesh screen to filter air going directly to the exhaust.

Hmmm... I guess I jumped to the conclusion. you are right. it may still have airpump with separate filter. I hope they got rid of it, though.

The airpump is gone, as is the rest of the air injection system. No control valve, no hoses, vacuum tank, etc. etc. The ports in the cylinder head are not machined, nor is the intake manifold.

Hmm, that's leaves plenty of room for brake ducts finally
