here's the kicker: i was offered a total of $50 to help cover the cost of prep work
this is ****** ridiculous, need to go to a bodyshop and see how much it'll cost. if its too much, I'll sell it.

rsx type s- i feel for you man. i had the same issues!! i've done the best i can, but i'm still getting wind noise.

anyway, here's some tips to close that gap:

take your hard top latches and slightly slot the screw holes so you can move the hardtop latches back. this will make the latches pull the hardtop closer to the window frame.

also, put some spacers in your hardtop strikers. search the forum for halfermod.

to even further help close that gap, use weather stripping. one roll is enough, but the actual thickness of it is small. i used the newer toyota tacoma fender weather stripping. part number 53853-04040 or AA4204D.

i think it's called a "pad fr wheel opening"

good luck i'm still trying to fix this hardtop after 1.5 months... so far i am not too happy of a customer.

I have no idea....yesterday i tried to get my money back through paypal after 2 1/2 weeks of nothing. The day i opened the paypal claim to get my money back they sent my top later that afternoon. Doesn't sound like coincidence to me. Especially after saying it had been shipped last tuesday i believe. Not looking forward to getting it. Just want money back now. Please look at the seller feedback before you decide to buy from them.

I don't even think the gap on that FRP one is acceptable. I seriously can't believe it got shipped out like that. That isn't going to be that easy to fix should you decide to keep it. I'd definitely be looking to send it back and tell them you want another one that doesn't fit like poop. I don't think i've ever seen one that looked that bad. I get the idea they aren't test fitting each top before it's sent out. Seems like an easy quick thing they could do to keep customers happy and knowing they'll get a top that actually fits.
