iigq hardware, some love it/some hate it, but it works for me, includes: side brackets, bolts, rear/side window seals, lower hardtop seal, and trunk bumpstops (i forgot to install those)...
well, this is the first time looking at this thread in months. like i've said previously, i received tons of pm's asking about fitment, so that's why i made the thread. this wasn't an endorsement, just an informed option for those that had the knowledge and resources to work with the cheapest option. going back and seeing posts like "i told you so" is exactly why i've been ignoring this thread.
we could constructively debate the pros/cons, not just have a bashfest. stating "you paid a $1000 for that crap" doesn't help anything. identifying the fitment problems and fixable solutions/costs and cross-referencing to the next higher alternative would better serve the s2k community in hardtop selection.
of course i may have responded sharply to what i perceived as annoyingly biased negative non-constructive criticism toned posts that were consistently redundant and i'll apologize for my replies. i'll say we've deliberated this supplier enough and the conclusion is pay extra for vis (the next cheapest supplier), fiberglass is however fixable and the numerous chaser owners that have fitment problems could use ideas for solutions rather than "should've bought authentic, you get what you pay for, i told you so." i'd recommend chaser owners with unsatisfied fitment issues to make a new thread over in the body/paint section of this forum.

^^^^ how is your fitment? did you have to do alot to get it to fit? wind noise?
in other news, just as soon as my finals are over i'm going to do a writeup for my solution to this horrible fitting hardtop. i got 90% of the kinks worked out, although some of them are ghetto rigged. I can't find a part number right now, but mcmaster car has seals that chaser uses.. you'll just have to find a windowstrip tape to reinforce those weak adhesives.
and for those of you too lazy to read, chaser aero hardtops have problems with fitment, and their customer service is absolute garbage. initially "nice service" when they want your money, but they'll leave you out in the dust when you realize they're selling inferior products.
s2k aok: looks wonderful imo, and i'm sure that when we install our cf one on monday it'll fit similar.
but of course, i know nothing will ever please you who are anal and this top will always fail for you people
