I have just renewed the pics. You should be able to them now plus a new one that I added.

I have the following pics scattered in other threads. I thought I'd just put them all here as they pertain to this subject.

I did indeed get Rick's full size screen:

Here is how I mounted the supplied bumpers:

I cut a notch in the lower bumper to make the screen "nest" in a bit better:

Another one of my very first mods to reduce the cabin turbulence was with these:
They are the headrests from Davies Accessories (I don't know if they are even still selling these - out of LA, Cali.)

The combination these 3 mods make the cabin much more liveable at speed, however, I had originally done an experiment with bug screen:

This, by far was the best turbulence control of all the mods, so I took the Rick's screen out and drilled it full of holes.
(As the photo album is acting up, I can't seem to download that pic right now. I'll get it here later.)

OK, here's that last pic of the Rick's screen drilled full of holes. I'll report back if and when spring ever comes and I get my hardtop off.

Xviper,

So you're saying the mesh does a better job than solid plexiglass at controlling the buffeting?

Interesting.

Interesting.
That is correct. Trying to stop the buffetting from behind with a solid piece only changes the direction and type of buffetting. "Controlling" it by letting it come through in a directed and subdued manner is far more effective.
Here is the thread I had where I gave an assessment of different combinations of wind blockers and how they performed:

Any updates on how your anti-"jimmy-buffeting" mods worked?
