Valid question, i did it mostly as "clean up" because i drive my car hard and its a PITA to keep the engine bay clean. So this allows me to focus on a much smaller portion of the bay and makes my life easier when i go to shows. I am not one for "tucked bays" either as i feel it harms the integrity of the vehicle. Sorry for late response, be a long weekend.

 

OK so its purely for esthetics? I thought it was to keep heat at bay (no pun intended)well thank you for the info and your car looks amazing btw
