Actually when I drove the car I was testing out the Tein RA suspension on the car, so I never Vtec'd or anything. So I can't comment on performance...

About your question on the Mugen heatshield and keep heat from the Master cylinder... They are referring to the Japanese models because on their cars the battery and master cylinders are in the opposite side as the US models.

Kool, thanks for that info... very valuable. So basically there is no need for a heat sheild.

No problem... I wouldn't totally say there is no need for the heatshield. I'm sure it helps keep the engine bay temperatures down by preventing most of the heat from the header to rise.

yes, you have a choice. either all blue gradiation or just the edged of the tip.
