That's the only thing you'll see regarding the stereo installment. Everything else will be absolutely invisible.

Hertz HSK speakers in the oem places in the doorpanels
Hertz tweeters in custom built housing as you see above
Genesis Profile 4 - 4 channel amp under the seat
Genesis Profile SUB - Mono amp under the other seat
custom built subwoofer housing with 2 Atomic 8" woofers in the spare tyre area

This week we dealt with what is often neglected: Power Supply
After hours and hours of comparing this and that, the components were chosen and ordered right away.

Our choice fell on parts of Connection Audison.

To keep the clean OEM-look even under the hood, we'll install these:

Connection Audison battery terminal +

1x 53mm

It's done.
First part, the front speakers are ready.
Pix from Thursday evening.

Speaker adapters made of multiplex - oem "speaker " in the background...

installed:

the new woofer

absolutely invisible:

tweeter housings

What time is it? Hmm, 4am in the morning, let's go to BurgerKing to discuss the next days agenda...

After another hour on friday, this is the result.
Therefore I decided to take some pix with the EOS:
I love these pods!

Can't get enough of them:

With doors closed, only the tweeters themselves are visible.

Pretty unobtrusive, isn't it.

Although there isn't any amp atm, the sound is very nice already. Awesome low- and brilliant high range. Unbelievable, what a difference a proper install of only a system on an Alpine HU makes over the oem setup.

Next step on Tuesday: Wiring...

Awesome work, love the tweeter setup. What kind of head unit do you have?
