L-X's SSM AP1 from Germany - tons of subtle mods!
Personally I would not powdercoat the wheels. I think that will ruin the great contrast your car gives off.
What I would do with your setup is:
Throw some 255's on the rear and 225's up front with that drop. Or look into some spacers. Wheels look fantastic but the stance lacks a little.
I think the car will look good regardless if it has an OEM lip or not. I'm not even sure you should add it.
Shave the front S Remove the s2000 emblem and possibly clear the side amber + front headlight amber.
Just suggestions since your looking for a new look.
Car does look hot as is though!

I really like the wheels.
Powdercoating just came to my mind because I recently did that with my oem 16s which are my winter-wheels. It looks so nice with the black top.
Otherwise, the non-pc'd rims give the car a very clean look.
Which way does the look change, if I throw on 255/225 without adding spacers?
You got any pix?
Personally, I don't like spacers at all, but I love the AP2V2 wheel and won't change them.

small update.
Mission: SHUT THE F*** UP
While driving around the town, we realized several annoying noises that narrow down the driving fun alot. So we decided to figure out a way to get rid of them.

Analyzing the trunk since most of the noise seems to come from there.

stripping down...

I love Standartplast

Since there will be a woofer soon, I think this has been a nice preparation for that as well.
The harness rattled uncontrolled inside the trunk lid, so we put some foam around it to ensure there's no noise from it any longer.

Next, we decided to cover all panels with self-adhesive felt to reduce vibration-noises of those panels rubbing against eachother.

This is what it looks like:

You wouldn't believe the effect! No more noise from the panels.

Of course, nothing is visible at all.
After 6 hours, we had a look on the A-pillar since alot of noise came from here as well.
The harness for the interior light is attached very lax inside so it can rattle alot.

The inside of the a-pillar panel has several spots where it rubs against the bodywork resulting in rattling noises.
Not anymore.

I'm really happy with the result, although it's not as calm as the Audi of my girlfriend, it's alot more quiet inside the car, even while driving on really bad roads.
All things considered, the car now feels a bit more like a high class car without adding too much weight.

This project is yet another example of what I (and probably many others) love so much about your car and your dedication to making it the best you can: the small details!
As you said, basically everything you did here is completely invisible, yet making the car that much more drivable.
My hat is off to you as always, L-X.

Thank you very much for the outstanding props, man.
I'll do my best to go on that way.
For those who wonder: I'm still waiting for my hub covers from the powdercoater who promised me to paint them the same color, he pc'd the wheels.

We installed the new battery finally.
Of course, since I don't want anything that doesn't exactly look like oem, I decided to paint the highend battery in flat black as if it were an oem one.
That's what you get:

Can't believe, alot of guys put it in their cars as it is. :bonkers:
Not me. :skep:

much better, isn't it...
Stealth OEM look FTWFW.
