To all the guys bashing about changing the suspension:

Do you bash the guys in the FI forums for boosting? Why take a car that is mean't for turns and make it fast in a straight line?

If you want to start in on people replacing things that don't need to be improved. . try starting on the guys with OEM CF hoods that don't weigh any less than OEM (maybe a pound)

Or paying $1500 for a front bumper that isn't as durable as OEM, just looks pretty/jdm yo!

He wants it lowered, he likes it, I like it, if you don't like it . . .BUY his CR suspension

It's all preference.
I think the CR must be lowered to pull off the wing and lip. Looks good imo btw!

I had absolutely no idea the amount of hatred and anger that would emerge by simply posting pics of my lowered S2000.

A lot has changed in this site community since I was plugged in a year and a half ago.

I apologize for offending anyone and appreciate all the props I got from those who shared my joy of this car.

I will check in from time to time but won't do any more harm by contributing any further.

Peace the f&ck out.

To be sure its his car, he can and should do with it as he pleases. Many can and will have the opinion that the mod is silly, many can and will have the opinion that its not. Just don't try to convince anyone that the car handles as well as stock when only the springs have been replaced and at a rate that matches factory (for the reasons Highrpmek stated above)

For the record, I think its silly to drag race an S2000, cheap non-vented OEM style carbon hoods are stupid, and the FRP vs durability criticism shows a general lack of knowledge about the properties and repair of both FRP *and* plastic

Sans-saleen strips, for sure the car looks great (sometimes that's all that matters to someone and as you mention there's nothing wrong with that). Hopefully some lap times he's able to put down (if his implication with the on-track pictures is that he has a breadth and depth of experience racing) with it will shut the critics up, but I wouldn't count on it

Back to the OP: Thanks for buying a white CR!!!! I hope very few are refusing to support the "smurf" blue Looks pretty in white!

You have to understand that there are those whose lives revolve around this website. Ergo, their identities are so intertwined with this site, they are intolerant of opinions that diverge from that of their own. It's sad, really. But it shouldn't serve to preclude you from further participation. Simply ignore them. Better yet, employ these forum's "Ignore" feature whenever the need arises.
