Wish i could have seen the pictures. There is a guy who is my friend who put inexpensive coilovers on his CR. I could care less it's not my car. This guy has owned some of the nicest hondas in our town. You should have seen his typeR. Let people mod their cars how they choose.

I didn't notice any anger and hatred. My impression was of confusion, questioning, and yes, a bit of criticism as well. But anger?

Hell, even people questioning the mod were giving you props for how it looked!

But then, it's not my car, and not my decision to mod that's being questioned, so I guess I'm just not as effected by it all.

It's too bad you decided to take your toys and leave. There are plenty of people on the board that liked your mod, and now they can't see it any more.

This is the Internet. Crap like this happens all the time. It even happened back in the beginning of s2ki. Just accept that not everybody thinks like you do and you'll never change that, and you'll have a much more enjoyable, stress free time with everything.

I understand where you're coming from, but I think your decision to remove the pics was rather churlish. Put them back up, ignore the posters that you disagree with, and let those who appreciate it, appreciate it.

Upon my having read this thread in its entirety, I must conclude that you are in fact correct. My comment, I must admit, was rooted more in my negative experiences vis-a-vis certain other forums within this website.

To all the guys bashing about changing the suspension:

Do you bash the guys in the FI forums for boosting? Why take a car that is mean't for turns and make it fast in a straight line?

If you want to start in on people replacing things that don't need to be improved. . try starting on the guys with OEM CF hoods that don't weigh any less than OEM (maybe a pound)

Or paying $1500 for a front bumper that isn't as durable as OEM, just looks pretty/jdm yo!

He wants it lowered, he likes it, I like it, if you don't like it . . .BUY his CR suspension

It's all preference.
I think the CR must be lowered to pull off the wing and lip. Looks good imo btw!

Agree 100%.
Even with a base S2000 + suspension mods, it's STILL NOT a CR.

Love the GPW CR! Looks hawt!

To each his own...if I had the CR, I would leave it as is....or buy an AP2 then add the CR parts that I wanted. It looks good though...very nice ride height. I actually like the stripes too

I like the CR more and more. ^ I would leave it alone also... why lower a car when the engineers already perfected it.
