Default New Subwoofer (JL 10w3v3)

Well like the title says, I got my subwoofer from William at darksidesubs.com. Came in Friday and had it installed that evening. I already had upgraded speakers with a zapco amp but it wasn't enough. So i got a Pioneer GM-D7400M to power the JL and it was installed at AMS stereo at the corner of Saratoga Ave./Stevens Creek Blvd. Not the cleanest set up but I don't really care. I can definitely hear/feel the difference and thats all that matters to me. Anyway thanks again William for the great service; quick responses and easy to work with.

On with pics!

My zapco amp

WLaurent enclosure in the box!

Test fitting and of course it fits perfectly.

Amp powering the sub behind driver seat.
Now no one tall can drive my car and yes I'm short

Well thats all!
Still looking into a new paint job but...$$$$$

hows the sound from the JL.

i have been looking into a stealth box for my s which comes with that same speaker.

is it clear with the top up and down?

i have a memphis 500d that i would be running it with and i just dont know if you would be able to hear it through the sealed trunk.

thanks in advance

its a little restricting because it is a small enclosure but theres not much you can do with the size of our trunks. Will did tell me to put poly fill in it though. Probably will try that later. But there is definitely a difference with sound. Even with the top down it sounds pretty much the same, so im pretty pleased with that. hopefully that helps?

Could you have fit the amp underneath the seat? Just wondering.

vent the trunk panels and the panel where your top rests when its down, that should let some sound thru
