I know what I'm doing.. I'm a graphic designer for a living, I can handle what colors do and don't work together. Don't worry Alejo, it will look good.

So I had an appt. supposedly today, the powder coating guy never showed up at the shop.. so WTF. I went to another place and was not impressed with their work and they wanted to charge me $150 per face. So I guess I'm just going to call the original place back on monday and bitch about them making an appt and not being there.

I was a little pissed today at the whole situation, I might just end up having to find another place all together which delays my plans. This sucks.

im glad i ran across this thread.

im refinishing some LM's for my e46 m3 and there is 0 info on dismantling/reassembling LM's on the net. (other then this thread).

BTW to the guy who said black lips and silver centers... it doesnt look good. the previous owner of my wheels did just that and its awful.

 

Can you post the torque spec for the wheel bolts? and the pattern for torquing the bolts (im assuming its a X or "t" pattern, but just to be sure.

Well this weekend was a bust but I am shipping them off to TRG hopefully by the end of the week. There was one last local place I could have gone but it is an hour away and I would rather just ship them out and have them done than have to drive and try to make it there on the weekends and etc. I'll start the cleaning process on the lips and insides this week as well.

 

oh.. those black lips are horrid too.
