A real supercharger!
The setup is very well put together, even though some people seem to think that it looks bad. There was a considerable amount of effort, it appears, to make it work with the stock ECU, and therefore drive like a stock s2000. This leads me to believe that they are using the stock ECU.
Very impressive.

The S has no low end torque. From what I understand (I claim not to know alot about supercharging) roots type blowers great for achieving low end torque. The guy that used to work on my car at By Design was very knowledgeable in the area oft superchargers. He was saying that he didn't think the roots type would be great for the S as the differential is very weak. The torque increas off the line would stress the driveshafts and other weak parts of the tranny. I seem to remember him saying something about the high comression as well. (don't quote me)
With a centrifugal blower the car is already moving on it's own power and the power can slowly come into play without adding an extreme amount of stress on the diff. Everyone knows that the S is not a drag car but is a monster in VTEC. The tranny is not good for 4000rpm clutch drops. Say good bye to your tranny pulling moves like that too often with a SC.
I would be interesting to see a roots type fill up the low end and get the double wammy of the VTEC coming into play. Which unit is more reliable? Roots or Centrifugal?
