A good point here. We don't have to rely on Japanese tuners for parts. There's a few great motor builder in this country. If someone put in the effort and money. I'm sure they can come up with just as good stuff. Example AEBS in Califonia. A very respected tuner/builder in the Import Scene. They have built plenty motors for the high boost guys. I'm sure they can come up with a sick NA set up if they want to.

cjb80 and chrisd. I believe you guys are the FI guys right? I was looking at buying an S a couple years ago. If I remember correctly one of you had a yellow turboS. I used to drool over your car and it was actually the numbers you were putting down that almost made me give up my very high dollar car to buy and turbocharge an S. Never ended up doing it. Aren't you two guys the original turbo guys. If you are then you guys dumped A sh*t load of money into your cars. Probably over 15grand I'm sure with the Speed Craft turbo kits, fine tuning, things breaking, changing things out to get the most RWHP.. If you are the two guys respect. What I wouldn't give to drive one of your cars.
What was the point of this? Just that when you get into high hp turbos you are talking a lot more than a 4000 SC kit. How much is it to really build a motor? 10 grand maybe 15 grand.

$5600 + core for a built motor..

My car produced 560 rwhp at 23 psi. Keep an eye out for Turbo magazine in the coming months.

Thanks for your respect

Chris
