it doesn't take a degree in engineering to figure that part out.

I was expecting the OP to shoehorn an engine in the trunk.

fabrication part was done nicely, but i would it's a solution for an non existing problem.

reminds me of those rear mounted turbo set up tho'

those are actually pretty sweet, granted, there's a longer spool time... but, considering that some cars lack the room in the engine bay, RMTs are a perfect option.

it is the answer to a good question...what if the s2000 came with a rear mounted radiator? what would the car be like to own with a small trunk in front and little trunk in rear? i l;ike the way it looks per your posts, very clean job.

I would not ask these questions...i would assume Honda looked into various configurations adn chose the best for the application and over time improved the breed to teh extend the budget and master plan allowed.

I commend you on your efforts and you can truely say: I did what I wanted to and this is what it would be like...now about that big screen tv going where the passenger seat once was? ....or that microwave oven fitting into the secret compartment?... or the one touch windows....or the ....?

I like it....leaves a good amount of room for *bigger* plans in the front.

Btw I haven't heard it go by my house recently lol

Yes, but before the trial and error part there's something else: laws of physics and proper design and engineering, none of which were applied here. The "trial and error" is really the fine tuning of a solid functional design foundation. Of course, this is all for looks so it doesn't really matter...
I hear ya there, and this is true but some of the best ideas (im not say this is one of them) start with just getting an idea in your head, a drawing on a piece of paper, and a lot of late nights in the garage. Then you test, evaluate, redesign ect. Math, engineering, and physics yes they are vitally important but sometimes things are for fun, looks, and to just say that you can do it.
For me its enjoyable to see something fresh and differernt thats not a body kit, wing, etc.. I give him props. I dont think he is trying to build a race car here, so why so much negativity. It may not work as good as stock, (lets hope it does) it may cause more trouble than its worth, but in the op's case it may worth it. Hopefully it won't cause to many headaches for him. Only time will tell.

..............................................sigh ....

more fluid, less accurate readings, heavier in back, always inconsistant air flow through raidator shroud, if made consistant - u can't utilize a rear diffuser, throws off balance of s2000 (it's been same throughout productions for 10 years??).

benefits...?

why didn't you just say you did it because it makes the engine bay look cleaner? That's all you had to do lol Looks great BTW definitely thinking outside the box!
