I think the idea is there and it looks good, but I think a little wider strip would work even better. Or even ghost stripes

I should add that your finished paint job looks great adding to the look will better finish it, like wheels.
As for doing a USDM thing it had started before you even got the car with Honda when they started with a front engine rear wheel drive platform

I'd really like to see the HT. Being that it's Berlina I assume you went OEM? That's got to look nice. Any reason why you didn't go yellow and continue the stripes?
Yeah it's OEM. When I ordered it, I didn't expect to do the stripes and I thought the contrast would look cool. I thought about continuing the scheme over to the top, but after I saw it on the car with the tint, it just looked too nice to change. Really stealthy. I just need to paint the windshield frame black so it matches better than that tape that's on there.

i think it looks decent. If amuse/j's/spoon/mugen/any other japanese tuner did that people would jock it.

Between taking the tape off and painting it black could you take pictures with and without the top on? Just for curiosity sake? (:

Sure thing. It's going to be a while before I do that though. It's on the bottom of my list of things that need to get done.

Well, I don't hate it. It doesn't look bad at all but the yellow/black scheme is horrible and if you're going to do a Shelby theme it's gonna take more than the stripes alone to pull it off. Props for doing something different. I'm curious to see where you go with it. I'll wait for you to get some more muscular wheels and side exit exhaust.
