Siesta Key is in Sarasota. From Bradenton down, islands are Anna Maria, Longboat, City, Lido, Siesta, Casey, Venice, Manasota, and from there I don't know. The two bridges to Siesta are at the west end of interstate exits Clark Road and Bee Ridge Road (these photos were taken near the north bridge, off Bee Ridge Road).

Yes, you are very fortunate -- Siesta Key is extraordinarily beautiful.

I visted there back in the early '80s and remember the white powder sand beaches, the bathtub-warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, cars appearing at the beach just before sunset to watch the sun disappear into Gulf, the Ringling Museum, and St. Armands Circle with its wonderful shopping. I certainly wouldn't mind retiring there someday.
