Ok So a buddy and myself had this odd idea... Take a Spoon hartop... Make one cut and make it into a targa top. Obveously there would be a tad more work needed to make it look just right. But has anyone ever tried this or seen it?? I have seen some 350Z's with cut roofs into targas and it looks good. The reason I am asking is because I love putting the top down in the summer... But LOVE the spoon hartop! So why not have the best of both worlds! Here is my MS paint while at work of what it would kinda look like. What you think?
I love this idea. I've thought about this for awhile now, but with a Mugen top. People are always afraid of change, and what HAS NOT been done yet. I think this is a great start towards a great idea. Can you do another chop, but paint those little fake triangle windows black like everyone else usually does. It's just too much white. I'd love to see any other tops you have ''chopped''.
And I don't know why that convert subie is in here. Looks nothing like what you are trying to do. At least post something TARGA related.
p.s. Also paint that car again as if it had the windshield tape removed. I think that would help it out alot.

how it is relevant to OP is that this guy had an idea, went through with it and it didn't come out as expected. sorry for bringing some humor to the thread. didnt know the internetz waz seriouz biznesss
ps. if you wanted a targa top ya should have bought a supra/300zx
