wheels look great! Cant wait to see them mounted. Mine sharing how much it cost to get the wheels sanded down and re-cleared/painted like that?

g0g3tt4, wait till he paints the car. That will hopefully be a nice show

Monsta508 looks like he is trying to increase his posts. haha thanks though

Slick87, sent you a PM too, but still would like to point out that I will most probably not be paying for the custom paint on the wheels since the guy didn't mention anything extra for it. He is just including it to my paint jobs price. And I did the sanding and prepping for him

Secondly, I would like to point out that I DID NOT, paint the whole wheel. Just the area in between the spokes were painted greyish, then the whole wheel (bare aluminum) was shot with 3 coats of smoked clear, retaining that OEM brushed aluminum finish.

Wheels look good and nice save on the car, but PLEASE tell the body shop to removed the front headlights, tail lights, third brake light, and mirrors before painting. I know the door trim and convertable trim is hard to remove, so that understandable to be taped off. I hate shops that half ass things like that, it doesn't take much more time. Taping it off is the lazy way and it isn't as clean.

thanks for the tip, I told them that. They agreed to do it. And I just noticed that the ASM Replica fenders are like 5mm longer on the tip where it meets the front bumper. That causes a little gap under the light. Looked around and here is no way to align it or anything.

I might get some kind of weatherstripping of something to fill that gap. The shop is also a bit too lazy, he is saying he will get it done by Monday, hopefully he does His intial deadline was yesterday. lol

Ali, I know you want your car to be completed, but don't rush the body shop. You don't want to increase their potential of cutting corners.

Looking good thus far btw.

And got the OEM Premium Floor mats, that are absolutely amazing. Top Notch quality. Almost ordered a red set from Germany, but luckily found these locally.

My baller mats
Where do you get these at. Mine are the orgianl and I kept them op but the driver side is looking bad from the gas pedal foot heel mark.

I actually picked them up a few days ago from someone who was selling his Ap2, got them for a reasonable price.

@IIGQ4U, I hear you brother. I will just try to keep an eye on them, They are literally down the street from me. lol, but I won't rush them or anything.

I might not even drive the car till a month, once the wetsand and buff is done, I will start daily driving it.
