those shiftknobs are countersunk, that is why they sit lower.

If you're confused about the "Countersunk" term, it just basically means that the threads in the knob go all the way to the top so that when it is screwed down, the overall height is shortened.

Having owned the GReddy unit on a previous car, I can tell you they're basically the same thing with different stickers Good luck with your decision.
