The idea for a thin yet flexible hinge came to me one day so I tried it out and it's worked great so far. This is my first prototype. I am making a longer one which will allow for more stability when I get back into town (on vacation at the moment).

Can you tell me if you removed the softop or where you able to intall the hard top on top of the retracted softop. That's my goal, have had my new S2000 and have a Mugen coupe top but grabbed a carbon fiber fast back at half price, since the S2000 market decreases every day. Any other information on the hinge would.be enjoyed also. Going to try to tackle this project this summer, love the tops for the cool weather.

Is the hinge a one piece flexible sheet, or something like this? Or like a long piece of wide tape? Is it held on by adhesive or by hardware? Thank you, Young
