i'll take some high quality pics this weekend of how I setup my seals so you can see. my hardtop doesnt leak any water, proper placement of the seals is important to reduce noise and prevent water intrusion. also, gluing in the windows is important to prevent water from coming in.

crap. haha turns out I havnt put seals on my new rear section (my last one fell off and shattered on the ground thanks to a big wind, yet another reason to have hinges. I didnt have it bolted down when i moved it outside the garage)

I'll grab some pics of the side window seals for you guys, so you can see how i reduce wind noise.

Thanks! How did you line up the tail portion and the hardtop for the pin locks? When I put a hinge in between the two, they end up being misaligned and the pins don't go in. Was wondering how you solved that problem. Thank you for your help on this! I know a lot of the Spoon guys have been wondering!

loosen the bolts and the brackets can move around. You should be able to adjust them on both the hardtop and the rear section.

Hello GrandMasterKhan, I'm looking forwards to see the pictures you said you're going to take. I've been trying to stop the skeaky noises my spoon hardtop makes.. thank you

Here you go guys! These seals have helped keep my hardtop quite and rain free. I wasn't able to complete a better hinge design. I personally like his better.

You can buy the window seals at PepBoys, they are cheap and you cut them to length.

Is there a latch or anything to keep the rear part (over the trunk piece) locked down? Could some stranger walk by in a parking lot and open it?

Nope, there are two hinges that lock the rear trunk section of the hardtop to the main hardtop.
