225's on 10..originally came with the wheels. hate it or love it i can care less. but here is what it looks like.

 

255 on 10 looks fine I think. 225 on 10 is fcked up sorry.

As long as it's within manufacturers specs I don't consider it a stretch. For a 255/40-17 that is between 8.5-10. And the manufacturer will tell you themselves closer to 8.5 for comfort due to increased sidewall flex. Closer to 10 for max performance.

A 255/40 on a 10 is perfect. You're maximizing the tires performance and generating more mechanical grip.

A 245/40 on a 10. That's stretched.
