Stretched tires
Here is my posted set-up on my car. The wheels were originally on my Accord. But, even at 18x8/18x9 et36 all around, on SKUNK2's, no fender rolling, I didn't rub at all. Marginally stretched tires allowed me to do this.

i like it to an extent.. some people just take it to a different level like the pics with teh RT615's above..
but there is a purpose of having stretched tires OTHER than space for low offset wheels..
for example, look at the outside front tire of any car charging hard into a corner.. The contact patch will be pulled significantly inboard, stretching the sidewall. Stretching the tire from it's straight-ahead position took some small amount of time... Pre-stretching the outer sidewall (by forcing the tire onto a "too-wide" rim) elimates that small movement and the time it takes for it to happen, making hte connection between the steering input and the vehicle motion that much more direct.

Damn. I never thought of that. Must find anti-stretch thread on vortex and post this. I love playing devil's advocate....

stretched tires look f-ing gay...People that think it looks cool to stretch tires to to fit enormous lips under the narrow S2k fender wells is f-ing gay...If anyone is offended by this then you're probably rocking stretched tires on rims meant for 350Z....I would rather have performance over looks any day of the week
