Thread Resurrection: Anybody have any luck doing this and feel like doing a thorough DIY? Electrical isn't in my wheelhouse but I'd like to tackle this over the summer.

 

Small update regarding the electronics - I switched from using a bunch of DC-DC converters and relays to just using a microcontroller with a relay board. The DC-DC converter and relays was just a bit too complex and there some unique situations that wouldn't yeild the correct result (IE turning left while applying brake / reverse)
