Ah. So it's not like a specific company or anything? Would OEM be considered JDM?
ther's JDM OEM and USDM OEM parts.. very small differences..
it's weird... I have a friend living in Japan who is a USDM freak!!!
according to him, Japanese people love USDM for some reason..
his friend just ordered LEXUS badges/IS300 badges, cuz he didn't like the Altezza...
i like this thread!
i have a knock off airwalker kit on my car...the front lip is perfect, cause its plastic and does not crack...BUT the sideskirts look horrible!! if you see them from the side they give out a wavy look that truly says that its a very cheap part.
so i might replace the side skirts with something authentic
like some said ,fake parts are ok to sport on some cases but not all cases...never on wheels ,engine, brakes or suspension.
i found the fake hoods to be VERY cheap looking and fit horribly so id never put those on my car...again this is from my experiance
Here's my Mastergrade hood and trunk lid, oem front lip and side strakes, Veilside tonneau cover, Ray's G-Games Wolfs, JIC FLT-A2 coilovers, RM Racing springs, SPC ball joints.I just put the trunk lid on this past weekend
I would like to know waht kind of CF TRUNK THAT IS?! The lines look awesome!!!

jakub i dig the air box
That was just the prototype, wait till I post the pictures of the real deal.
Here something to give you an idea (I have redesigned the intake piping to bring it lower and filed the $hit out of the welds on the IC piping)
I spent 2 nights in my engine bay with a Swiss Army Knife in my hand to make it fit. What a major P.I.T.A.
But I love cars like Mine's GT-R34 where "they leave it up to the customer to modify these parts" and the car looks fairly stock
I've grown out of blue burned exhaust tips and nacked intake filters connected to polished pipes
BTW. guys, I am shocked with the positive response this thread is getting. I was 99% sure it's gonna be locked by this time
Question: So what would you consider Mastergrade? usdm oem?
Since Mastergrade is not a car producer, nor does it provide products for Honda, it is considered an aftermarket company. Hence it's from the US, I consider it a USDM aftermarket company.
OEM on any car is only a part being listed as a spare part or genuine accessory
Mastergrade hood=USDM aftermarket product
Hope this helps
The trunk looks great BTW .And it's not an replica or knock off, just a USDM product
