I think all top of the line exhausts are made this way..? If you think about it, wouldnt bending cause small areas where air is restricted to flow, specifically on the inside of the bend?
Not if you "Mandrel" bend it. It is a special machine that actually keeps the true inner diameter of the pipe while it is bent (doesnt get those "wrinkles" like a cheap bend). All of you Borla, B&B, GHL, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc. exhausts are mandrel bent.

I hope all the "high end" exhausts arent butt welded like that, because that is the opposite of high end. Anyone who has ever ported heads knows that having a sharp elbow like that causes a reverse swirl effect that SEVERELY hampers flow.

yeah id say amuse knew what they were doing considering their exhaust nets more gains than a magnaflow or w/e...

You know whats even funnier is you can grab a Borla, Flowmaster, or GL all for under $300 an exhaust.

IMO, they are the APC of exhausts for the S2000/NSX.

Is it just me, or is every bend in that exhaust a welded angle joint????

No offense, but that is a really poor way to build an aftermarket exhaust. A mandrel bend would offer alot less restriction and more strength.

The diffusor looks nice, and the exhasut looks cool behind the car, but I would have serious issues with the construction of the exhaust from a performance standpoint. Knowing the cost of most S2K exhausts, that sort fo construction doesnt fly.
I think it's easier to cut and weld titanium than it is to mandrel bend it. I'm not even sure if it CAN be mandrel bent. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Awesome exhaust BTW. You gonna get an exhaust cap to cover the other opening?
