Welding retains the same pipe size and flow integrity, mendrel bending is an obsolete technology. All pinnacle exhaust tuners using exotic materials all subject pipe flow/changes to strict/tight welding instead. And yes, this is much much more superior over bending.

CUAT9K - You might want to remove the diffuser and do more cutting work to fit around the muffler. I can see you have very minimal room there. I run an Amuse R1000 and the same diffuser for trackwork, from the vibrations and movement, you will expect some contact if you don't cut more. That diffuser piece will also be subjected to alot of scrapping and damage if you drive fast as it pulls the car closer to the ground from the channelled air flow, be prepared to use industrial grade 3M duct tape to do any patch/repair work. It only looks pretty when you first put it on.

I love the exhaust...

hmmm... Amuse > Borla
I think the Togue Monster Amuse S2k car is proof enough that Amuse knows what they are doing. Questioning their exhaust is pretty pointless.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. I'll try and shave down another 1/4 inch all the way down. Although, i was shaking the exhaust, and it didnt seem to move much at all, but I suppose going over bumps and such will have a drastic effect on how much the exhaust shakes. I dont track my car, but the roads here in jersey arent exactly top notch either, so maybe I'll get some 3M stuff and tape it up. I'm leaving for spain in a week, and then i have school soon after that, so the car wont see much action in the wintertime.

Hopefully I'll get my ASM GT strut bar before i leave for school, and I've got a few J's racing goodies on my mind before the end of the "modding season" for me. Next spring, its mugen hardtop/wheels time!!

Well.. in any case, it looks very nice.

Ill stop jacking here and start another thread trying to figure out how a butt weld flows better than a radiused bend
