Default Your opinon on this modified hardtop

1st things 1st. Who ever owns this car I hope they dont care that I played with this picture in paint. I would love to own this BB

So I love the look of the hardtop and one main reason...well 2 main reasons for not getting one is $$$$ and then losing the ability to drop the top when I want. Ive driven in my friends Corvette C6 and loved how it was a HT but the center could easily be removed. Then I got to thinking.

What about doing the same with the S2Ks HT. I happen to really like the look. The only problem would be where would the center piece go? The only way it could fit into the trunk would be if it were split in the middle. So 2 pieces with easy latches etc etc. It might even be cool if a screened material was made to cover you in the open area and "shade" you from the sun but still allow light and air in

If I knew how to FG and had money to blow I would attempt this.
If someone makes this, can I get a discount?

Well what do you guys think?

Comments/ideas welcome

with the centerpiece missing, i feel like something is just...missing. i dunno it looks really empty and then you have this huge black slope behind the emptiness. what if you kept/add a bar in the middle so it's like a true t-top. could solve your issue of wear to put it cause it will be in 2 pieces?

I see what your saying about something missing, but I feel like it could still work.

Thanks for the link, wasn't aware someone posted this before. Seems like not too many people dig it
