Post 2005 S2000 Center Console Question

Hello guys

just bought my fist S2K last week and I'm in the process of identifying all the issues with the car... i have a couple of questions regarding the center console:
  1. my console has missed the little arm between the two cup holder slots see picture with the green circle marked with Number 1. anyone know what's the part number and where I can purchase it.
  2. the sliding doors works if I manually close it and open it once I press the button.... but it feels the door have dirt inside the rails that prevent to auto opened all the way back by itself when open it pressing the button.... I have seen videos and seems it should fully open by itself when I press the button marked with the green circle numbered with 2 is that true?
  3. how I can remove the console I didn't see any screws securing it so my guess is that have some type of internal clips... anyone know where those are located and how I can remove it without damaging it?. I'm trying to remove it to clean it and try to remove the sliding door
Thanks in advance for the support really appreciate

The sliding door gets gummed up from the sugar in spilled soda (pop). I recall the whole console is held down with clips and can be carefully removed. (Wait for confirmation 'cuz I've not removed mine in a long time.)

The part with the coins is not OEM but a 3D print. I printed mine in white so I can see inside easier.

Parts for the console are here, the divider is $12:

Here's a link to the cup or coin holder. Works fine with US coins too. Note the same photo. Less than an hour on my QIDI printer:

Console is held in with clips, just pull on it upward to release it. I find it's easier to start at the top edge near the radio door. There are plugs on the backside for the various switches, be mindful of that when you start pulling, and remember to unplug the switches (also remember to plug them back in when you reinstall it). You also have to unscrew the shift knob to be able to remove it completely from the car. I'd suggest a warmer day than a cold one as it is plastic (the console that is) but it isn't difficult.

Probably a youtube video (or 20) of people removing it.

Just a quick Update on Point #2 & 3- yesterday I disassembled the center console (as you guys said it's only 6 clips that hold it down I went from back to front and there was two switched I needed to disconnect) and I found that yes it was full of gunk (Cola or some sugar residues) disassembled the sliding mechanism and cleaned it but also found that the spring roll that makes the door to open was not assembled was loose in the tunnel so o figured it out how to put it back was really easy... now the door works as intended and I didn't spend any $ lol + I learned how it works.

thanks @Chuck S @sam_spider
