While I have never tried any on my S dash, I did spray some goo gone onto a rag and wipe a small part of a Jeep Cherokee dash with negative results. It almost started to 'melt' the dash and the rag got black fast, leaving a tacky feel to the dash where it was applied. However, this dash was more of a hard plastic, not vinyl like the S. Just be very conservative when applying.

Use SEM Solve. That's what we use at our trim shop.

Well I'm sorry I took the advice about using Googone. All I did was use a little Googone on a rag, and it gave my dash a faded look where I used it. Just a warning to anyone else considering using it. Trying to figure out if I can repair the damage I've done now

Didn't remove the adhesive either.

Reviving an old thread here to share some helpful info. Scotch Shipping tape works great to get adhesive off the dash. Just take a piece of it and stick it to the part of the dash with the adhesive. Stick and lift, stick and lift as many times as it takes to get the adhesive all or mostly off. If nothing comes off, try sticking it a little longer and really press it down by running your fingernail over where the tape is on the adhesive. Leave it for a couple of seconds, then lift up. Use a new piece of tape each time one gets covered in the adhesive. I saw no damage to the dash using this method.
