aftermarket steering wheel hub
currnetly looking to get a hub & steering wheel soon
was prob gonna pick up a nardi or personal wheel but as far as hub, i read people talk about 06+ throw out the airbag with nrg hubs so was gonna pick up a works bell probably.
but now question is, how far out would the steering wheel stick out wiht just a standard hub compared to a short hub without quick release? im guessing standard hub = short hub + qr combined?
thing is i want to keep stock distance from wheel to wiper/turn signal knobs but little further out i would not mind either..
so i guess im wondering, standard size hub or short hub? & if it helps, i'm planning on getting a 330 wheel

yes if you get a short hub, you NEED a QR or spacer. you wouldn't be able to use a short hub by itself unless you get a super dish wheel (and then it still might not work).
My WB standard hub with a flat wheel is pretty close to stock. If you can afford it, go short hub and QR. it's expensive, but the works bell short hub is much higher quality than the WB standard hub. the short hub is machined while the standard hub is cast aluminum.
