Default Gearknob boot

Hey,

Ive seen afew photos of gearknobs around here which all look very nice, but one thing that has caught my eye is the leather boot. They are all the way up to the stick knob.

Mine is settled about half way and exposing some of the shaft.

Any tips or pointers?

Thanks!

Pete

Pop the console loose and then lift the shift but like you're trying to pull it over the knob (you won't be able to with the knob still on the car) and use a zip tie to hold it up. Works like a charm. I've done this on both s2k's I've had. The droopy shift boot was always one of the things that drove me nuts about the car.

Seems like a real easy fix. No need to have your shaft exposed, lol!
