Default Has anyone used 1Z Klima Cleaner

Before the summer gets going I want to make sure that my air conditioner won't smell when I turn it on. I was thinking of purchasing Klima Cleaner. I was wondering if anyone had experience with it or if there is a recommendation out there for a better product. If anyone has used it I would like to know, does it work? Is it worth it? Was it easy to use?

I've never used it, but I can give you some advice to keep mold out of your system once you get it clean. I got that bad smell once in a past Honda, a tech gave me some advice and I've never had it again in any vehicle in 20 years.

When approaching your destination with the A/C running, turn off the a/c button and just leave the fan running for the last few minutes of your trip (2-5 mins ?). That helps to blow out the moisture in the system and dries out the core/coil. If you shut down the car with moisture in the system it will attract mold, particularly when letting it sit all night long at the end of the day. It isn't a problem if you are doing short trips throughout the day, the problem is worse when you have it running for a while and then you shut down the car for long periods of time.

after you click the a/c button off you can also increase the fan speed to blow out more moisture from the system.
