leather seat upholstery covers from eBay
anyone purchased this before? seller is supposedly a shop in Australia. There was one person in the AU camaro forum that said the quality was pretty good. Thinking of trying it out since my seats are all torn up. Half the price of any other replacement seat covers.

I bought some of those and installed them myself. The fit was not very good. I tried a lot of different things to make them fit better, but it became clear they would never fit like the OEM seats. If you have the red dash and red roll hoops the color is not a great match for the stock red plastic, the leather is darker red. And, the quality of the leather is not as good as the factory leather, it is thicker, stiffer and the texture is rougher than the OEM material.
IMO, beware of any company that doesn't show photos of the product installed. This is the best I could get them to look, they looked much worse at first.

Thanks S2ka! That was super helpful. Honestly aside from the wrinkles, you made it look pretty damn good. My stock seats are really beat up with quite a few tears all over the place. Going to give it a shot.
Wonder if this thread is for the same seats: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-mo...1172095/page2/
Maybe a little heat with the top down will solve the wrinkles.

The red covers in the other thread are the same as what I installed. My final result in the photo above is after about a month of using a steamer, heat gun, numerous cycles in the hot sun.
Leatherseats.com is more expensive but the quality of the material and fit appear to be way better than the cheap ones on eBay, which fit loose and feel more like thick vinyl than leather.
If if you do install the eBay ones make sure you post photos so other people won't be tempted.

An FYI:
I have an 04 MDX with so called "leather" seats very similar to the S's. The seat cushions split all over the small hole perforations until the foam was coming out. I looked at OEM replacements ($600 a pop) and all kinds of replacement covers. I wound up taking the advice of 2 Honda dealers and took it to an upholstery shop. I decided to use vinyl instead of leather for the material. (Hard to tell the difference really.) They removed the seats and created new covers from the old ones. Repacked everything and re-installed. Hair, teeth, guts, eyes, and tax was $600 out the door for the entire job of both front seats.
It looks like it came from the factory. Glad I had it done the right way!
