Default Roll Hoop Compatibility?

I did a search, but couldn't find this info. I want to replace my driver's side roll hoop and wondered what model years are compatible with my '06?

I guess that there isn't a lot of info on this, or my question wasn't specific enough? The question is really two-fold. I have found that roll hoop mounted speakers were added starting in the '06 model. The second question is, did the mounting change as well? If not, I could convert to the older roll hoops and remove/re-position the speakers.

You need the "garnish" where your speakers mount or did something happen to the roll bar brackets?

I used pre-06 hoops without speakers to replace the broken roll hoops in my '06. Had no issues mounting them, and used the money I saved (got these for a good price locally) to upgrade the rest of the stereo. I don't miss the roll hoop speakers at all.

The drivers side roll hoop on my '06 had been opened by a previous owner. I am looking to replace it and just wanted to know which model's had compatible hoops. I am considering using older model hoops and installing the speakers elsewhere.

I was in the same situation. It seemed that 06+ roll hoops typically sold in the $300-350 range. I was able to pick up older roll hoops without speakers locally for ~$100 and spent the extra money upgrading the door speakers and adding an amp. I've been completely satisfied with my decision after all was said and done. I'm not sure what year the hoops I used were from, but I know they were from an AP1.

Thanks. That was along the line I was thinking if I can't find an '06+ hoop in good condition.
