Default Parking Brake Sensor wire for new HU

I just purchased a Kenwood KIV-701 head unit and also the Modifry plug-n-play harness and the DCI module. I just need to splice a green and white wire into the parking brake sensor wire in order to use video when the parking brake is up. Where is it located and what is the best way of splicing them together. Also, is there a way to use a switch or something else to be able to use the video even while driving? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

the wire is under the center console so just pop that off. you can add a switch just don't remember how you set it up. i had it done in my civic but don't remember which wires had to be spliced

I installed a BT-901. Same situation. There is only one wire. I just tinned the end of the wire and pushed it into the plug under the console...works like a charm.

Pull the center console apart, and you'll see a plug going into a switch on the bottom of the parking brake assembly. That's the wire you need to tap.

On my own personal cars, I just run it to a toggle switch so I don't have to have the parking brake up to watch videos.
