Default Safe removal of Wind Blocker

Looking for DIY to safely remove the wind blocker on my S2K so I can replace it with one that is lighted.

Thanks.

carefully pop the two tabs on the top that cover the screw head
later models have an inset nut, earlier you will need a wrench

literally 2 screws holing it to the top of the secret compartment
