Did you happen to remove the tar piece that sits where the spare tire is located? If so, what did you use to remove it?

I left it in place- I'm trying to up sound deadening with the dynaliner and carpet. I've removed that junk before, heat gun and scraper works, but some guys swear by dry ice to freeze it and then shattering it.

This is the second time I've heard of the dry ice method. I think I'll give it a shot when the weather warms up some more. Thank you.
