Default Steering Wheel Cover

My S2000's previous owner thought it would be fun or something to start digging her nails in the steering wheel...the outer rim is all peeled and looks ugly. Where can I get a steering wheel cover and do you guys have any recommendations? Thanks

People who wear rings on their fingers will destroy our wheels easily, mine was in poor condition when I got my car, as was the shift knob, from rings on the previous owners fingers.

There was an old post of someone that wrapped their wheel in new leather, though I don't know where they bought the cover. That was the only one I've seen done like that. Everyone else seems to buy new wheels rather than go through the headache of stitching on a new one.

Hey, so what did you do to fix yours? I just want to cover it, doesn't have to be a new wheel, it just can be a well fitting leather cover... but the ones I always see are too big for our steering wheels

I had my OEM wheel recovered by JPM Coachworks, I used the opportunity to get it thickened up and added some coloured stitching, etc.. , it isn't cheap though.

The guy who covered his own wheel had post on this site, try a search and see if it comes up.

Give redline leathers a try too. You have to stitch it on yourself, but there are plenty of guides and if you take your time it does come out looking good.

Look into the RedlineGoods wheel covers too. You can install them yourself and there are plenty of guides you can follow on the net. It is a little daunting (especially as you'll have to rip off the old leather) but if you take your time, it can turn out looking quite good.
