Remember the musical group Blood Sweat And Tears? These 3 products have one thing in common. All three are slightly acid and none of them would be particulay good for the leather.On the other hand there is probably nothing in a lotion or oil that would affect leather adversly. The base of these product is either a water and oil emulsion or a vegatable or mineral oil and probably form the base for most leather conditioners. The only thing I'm unsure of are the passive tan producing products. I kanow they can stain cloth and possibly may stain light colored leather.
