DFW S2000s decked out in lights!
I'm not sure which was the better show. The Interlochen lights or the S2000 parade of lights? Molly W wins the prize. Her stook was equipped with a wreath, roll bar ribbons, Christmas ornaments, a holiday mouse (or rat?), decorated tree, red valve stem lamps and lights everywhere! AATees had a decorated tree too. Clovis had lights wrapped around the rollbars just like mine.
The S2000 parade attracted as much attention as the light displays. Perhaps the residents and sightseers were just astonished that the occupants of four stooks were enjoying the 20 degree night with the tops down. It was a great night complete with plenty of holiday cheer, hot chocolate, cider, holiday tunes on the radio, ski clothing and crisp subfreezing air. Although I was solo this evening the other three cars had spouses on board. At the end of the trip drivers and passengers all seemed to be enjoying themselves with no apparent frostbite.
I hope to post some group photos taken earlier in the evening. Thanks for braving the cold everyone. I hope to see you again soon in '01.
Happy Holidays,
Stefan

I'm still clinging to my 35mm so the pics will have to wait until after Christmas. I like to shoot film so that I can make poster size enlargements on our 72" wide format inkjet. I'll try to post them ASAP. I'm not sure if the group shot will reveal all of the decorations on Molly W's car. We may need to persuade her to post a closeup. The cars were quite a sight.
Merry Christmas,
Stefan
