Has anyone put an 06+ engine in a 00-05. Should be fairly straight forward as long as you change the crank sensor, cam sensor, valve cover, and intake manifold over to that of 00-05, correct? Can anyone confirm. Thanks

 

Also coil packs, injectors, throttle body, etc

 

Coil packs work
Injectors and throttle body are on the intake manifold along with iacv

 

They might "work" but the honda service manual specifically says coilpacks between 00-05 and 06+ should not be interchanged

There's plenty of threads on the coil packs and on 00-05 vs 06+ motor swaps its been done many times

From your 00-05 keep your valve cover with coils,all shortblock sensors(crank/knock), fuel rail with injectors, everything intake related, and change the 06 trigger wheel to 00-05 trigger wheel
