Default 2JZGTE Swap

Hey, I'm brand new here. I don't own an s2k but am looking for cars to swap a 2jzgte engine into. I heard this car was a good idea b/c of the large engine bay. Has anyone on this site done it? What are required parts if so? Does anyone know of anywhere that I can buy a full 2jzgte s2k swap kit? Thanks in advance!

Um, yes it has been done. Yes, you are going to get flamed for this, just a heads up...

Honestly, don't do it . Keep the 2jz in a Supra...

No kits. Someone did do it and in the process ripped off alot of S2k members. Last I saw legal action was being taken against them.

So needless to say if you want to swap a supra motor into an S2k your going to have to do it on your own. Custom.

Aight.. That really puts me down. Well, can you pump at as much hp as the 2jz with the s2k (and do it as cheap and easily)?

Well, I can get 850hp out of a 2jz for 8 grand (usd). I don't think it gets better than that..

You will never see 850whp for 8 grand, it just doesn't come as cheap as people tend to think. There is 2500 bucks just in fuel system and another 5 grand in single turbo setups.

Lets factor in 2k for an EMS that will "work" and 4k for an EMS that will drive like stock cold or hot. Don't forget the exhaust, rear end, clutch (easy 2k if not more), driveshaft and axles is you plan to use slicks.

850whp is not cheap, easy, or attainable by many people out there contrary to popular belief. Sure you may be able to ebay it once and say you built one. But it won't live through a pass or a long highway pull.

So to that effect, no. You can't get a lot of power out of an F20/F22 or a 2jz for "cheap".

850whp in this car is stupid. The s2k is to light to handle it. If yo uare racing street bikes at 100+mph sure then go for it, but for practical purposes its just not gonna work. The supra is a heavy pig and can handle the torque and hp. Just me 2 cents. Then again if you want a dyno queen then go for it.
