You're crazy for having 4.77s in an AP2 as it is. Definitely get rid of 'em for boost.
Just whats so wrong in your opinion for having 4.77's on an AP2?

I've currently got 4.44's on my AP2 and love it!!
I don't race/autocross and would like even more pull..
I also use the car as a DD 80% around town(20-50mph) driving..
I don't feel the car or me will suffer it I can only acheive 133mph
max in 6th gear...
and my bit of interstate traverel is very small....so what I'm running
4800 at 80mph?
4.77 gears are too short to most people's taste in an AP2. If I had an AP2, I'd have 4.44s. I currently have 4.56s in my AP1. No need to get touchy.

This makes the most sense. It is your car and the top end will be slower...that is what you give up for getting to your "new" top end faster.

if your really serious about building a strong SC your are defenetly going to need to go back to stock gears if not even more i know there are some builds were they go down to 3.90 but they are insane quick, because if you have the 77's are your gonna do is be shifting but not moving as fast as you would.

What are you confused on about that?
Many go down to longer gears for turbo builds etc.

Drinking and reading the question wrong. the 3.90 gear really depends on how much power the SC can create. Big sc power would benefit, small sc wont as much especially when comparing the 3.90 to a turbo build.

I was supercharged and had 4.77s in my AP1. Wasnt bad, never thought to remove them. I'll be turboed soon with the same setup, I guess I'll see how that goes.
