Oop's forgot their off of the 06 Accord V6 W/ manual trans.
Hmm thats got power and weighs a lot more I would think the pads could def be an improvement in stopping power.
See the front calipers for $45 a piece on ebay and rears $50 for the pair.

Did you do front and rear calipers? Or just the fronts?

How much does that increase unsprung weight though?

Still, the larger pads are compelling. The fluid won't make a diff in pedal feel. The braided stainless lines will decrease pedal play slightly and allow you a better feel. You better hope that the fluid volume of the new calipers is something the master cylinder can cope with, but if the pedal is only going down half way, maybe it's ok.

I've driven my '85 Mustang GT on the tracks with a heavily upgraded braking system. It's like stepping on a brick. But I'm super impressed with the brakes and feel on the stock S2000 compared to my track ready brakes.

The larger calipers and pads. Most of the weight that it would have added I probably grinded and sanded away tho...

Didn't know calipers added to unsprung weight.
I'm sure the weight difference is not much at all.

i just randomly checked out the hawk performance pads website.

they do offer 17 applications (including front and rear pads) for the 06 accord v6 manual transmission vehicle.

they have the performance metallic, HP plus, HPS performance, dtc-60, dtc-70, and, Blue 9012 for the front application.

hawkperformance.com

you get the best results if you search by vehicle. you can do so by selecting "find part now" on the home page.it will redirect you to the search by vehicle option.

i think this is a great mod that wont hurt the wallet.

thank you for sharing the info!

I didn't do too much on the face of the calipers. They cleared my Ap2 V1's by maybe 1 or 2 credit cards stacked together. It was a really close fit.
