Not sure if anyone has mentioned this if so sorry for restating it. But if you guys are looking into the nsx caliper you can get the legend caliper for much cheaper they are the same size and are 2-piston brake caliper. They also fit 2-gen tl, believe they are similar if not same size.

the difference between the legend and nsx caliper though is that the nsx is cast from aluminum and has nsx cast on it and the price difference.

If I may interject, you are partially correct.
CLARIFICATION:

The NSX and Legend GS calipers use different piston sizes. Also, the NSX caliper is forged from steel the same as the GS calipers and most all honda calipers.

The NSX calipers have heat vanes to help with cooling, as the NSX brakes came with special kevlar pads, heat deterrant inner brake pad shims (like the ricer ones you see that keep heat away from the pistons to stop brake fluid from boiling so much) and are not coated in a zinc coating.

So which would be the better upgrade?

Accord, RL, or NSX calipers?

I have my pads and sanded/painted calipers on the work bench. I have been advised against Racing Brake rotors by several sources, so I am looking at better options. I measured my caliper from piston to bracket at 65.3mm and my Carbotech AX6 Accord pads at 16.2mm. This leaves me 1.29 inches of space for a caliper. This should leave room for a 1.25 inch caliper, a standard size. Worst case scenario I will have to slightly power sand my pads.

Why have you been advised against RB rotors?
